Lucky Pair Win Colouring Competition

Runner-up Charlie Hare, Ethan's Manager Ryan Murphy and winner Ben Lintin.

20th June 2017

Over 40 budding artists from across the county put their talents to the test in our Japanese-themed colouring contest recently.

However, two entries really stood out from the crowd. Overall winner Ben Lintin (8) received a Nintendo 2DS console while runner-up Charlie Hare (12) received a two-hour virtual reality session at Tension VR in Lincoln.

Runner-up Charlie Hare, Ethan's Manager Ryan Murphy and winner Ben Lintin with their prizes

While it was very hard to pick a winner as the entries were so good, Ben and Charlie’s designs showed real artistic flair and we hope they enjoy their prizes. We’d like to congratulate both our young stars and of course thank everyone who entered the competition as well as Tension VR in Lincoln who very kindly provided one of the prizes.

As Ethan’s is a family-friendly restaurant we thought the competition would be a good way of keeping the kids entertained during the school holidays and of course kids eat free from Monday to Saturday 12 noon till 6pm!

We have a wide and varied children’s menu which caters for even the fussiest of eaters. As well as international dishes like yakitori chicken skewers and salmon with teriyaki sauce we’ve also included traditional classics like fish fingers, pizza and hot dogs.

We had such a good response to the competition from our diners that we’re now busy planning similar competitions in the future so keep your eyes peeled!
